Listening to the universe
One of the 27 antennas at the Very Large Array astronomical radio observatory on the plains of San Agustin near Magdalena, NM. The antennas are 82 feet in diameter, weigh 230 tons each, and can be moved along a configuration of y-shaped tracks, up to 22 miles in diameter.
